Tom has worked 20+ years in the computer industry. Over that time, his duties have included design, development, engineering and administration. He started his career as a web developer for the White House (whitehouse.gov), and moved into web hosting and professional services. More recently, Tom acted as a system architect for large scale DNS systems where he focused on capacity planning and scalability, overall availability and system automation.
Tom holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University.
